Puppy classes

Congratulations on getting your new puppy.
Our classes are available for all puppies up to 6 months old. We require that all puppies who join our club be vaccinated, especially the 2nd injections against the deadly Parvo virus

We aim to equip you with the tools needed to build a happy life with your puppy. Classes focus on socialising, bonding with your puppy, playing with your puppy, the fundamentals of basic training such as: watch me; sit; down; come with me; returning when called and more.

We can only guide you, but training really happens when you practice it consistently at home. To help you with this, we will provide you with a homework sheet at the end of each lesson. We look forward to having you join our group and in helping you build a positive relationship with your dog.

What to bring

  • Your dog should wear a well-fitted collar and lead.
  • Bite size treats and water.
  • A favourite toy.
  • In case of wet/cold weather, you can bring a small mat for puppy to sit on.
  • Please pick up after your dogs, poo packets are essential.

Fees:

R200 per month. Puppies adopted from TEARS receive the first month free.
